(Brookside Seniors Residence and Wildrose Affordable Housing: Residence) - Denis said, “We began working with Hartwig Architecture when they and the general contractor proactively presented a joint proposal to us to build the Brookside Seniors Residence. Because seniors must be able to afford to buy the units, being ‘on budget’ is imperative. It is always a balancing act to meet the original intent of the project (for example, underground parking), be on budget, and still end up with an attractive development. Hartwig Architecture hit the mark and the project is currently under construction. Our seniors will be very happy living in a development as attractive as this one will be, and we’re happy that it will be cost effective to construct. We accepted a second proposal along with the first one. Hartwig Architecture and the contractor proposed to design and build our affordable housing project—a project that is made up of apartments. This project, which is just coming out of the ground now, also looks great.”

Weatherford International (USA) said they have never seen a project go as well as our Canadian project went. This building is Weatherford’s flagship. It is an excellent design.
