Terry Korz: Associate

Terry Korz’s creativity is evident in both his work and play. Besides being a respected technologist, he is a potter, artist, sculptor, and photographer who is also pursuing his architectural degree through the RAIC syllabus program. When he is being less creative, you might find him fly fishing.

Terry looks after quality control at Hartwig Architecture. He has a passion for making each project great and he admits he is happily stubborn about doing it right.

Although meticulous attention to detail is a wonderful trait for the Q.C. person to possess, Terry is also known for his wit, pranks, and unique sense of humour.

Why did Terry choose architecture as a career? After high school, he took several aptitude tests. In each case, the test indicated that he had a strong aptitude for architecture.

Terry says, “I was destined to do this and I love it.” He has been doing the work he loves for more than 18 years. He has seen a multitude of projects pass his desk, but few stand out as much as the Umicore project which he saw through from initial design to construction.".

When asked what he likes best about working with Hartwig Architecture he replied, “We really have a great team. There is mutual respect and we have good working relationships.”

Terry’s inspiration comes from nature. What better place to draw from when
‘building with SOUL’.
